Fiber artist Althea Merback knit all of the hats, gloves, and sweaters for Coraline in her recent movie.
I learned about her work from a show called Radical Lace and Subversive Knitting at MAD in New York City. This show is now touring the country and is also the subject of a new book by the same name.
Enjoy this short video introduction to Merback's miniature knits. My favorite part? The runway shows.
