It was while living with you in DC that I first found out that beggars actually can be choosers, and often are. Remember that guy with the "will work for food" sign. We told him to come by and rake leaves. We made peanut butter sandwiches to feed a small army of urban outdoorsmen, but he never showed up. I'd prefer a little more honesty, myself. "Lady, I've got the shakes and I could really use a 40." Cheers, beer's on me.
