It's been ages since I've worked in the art studio. It was built as a summer cabin so the insulation is pretty poor. The heater keeps it not quite warm enough inside, but melts the snow on the roof enough to create some pretty dramatic icicles.
I spent the day shredding old journals. When I come back to Montana in the Spring, I plan to make them into seed paper - sheets of paper with grass seed embedded in the pulp. There is a "How to Make Seed Paper" post over at Thirfty Fun. I'll plant all these old pages in the dirt around the art studio. The grass will tell the story of how I got here.
You should put wildflower seeds in there too.
