The Washington Post had an interesting article a month or so back that while women are getting heavier world-wide, Japanese women are getting thinner and thinner. Presumed cause? Social pressure from other women.



I have a couple friends who are naturally that skinny and they hate it. They wish for curves and femininity. I, on the other hand, cannot lose the last belly fat and always feel uncomfortably big.

I keep in mind my favorite quote about beauty from Cindy Crawford, "You have to remember that before two hours of hair and makeup even I don't look like Cindy Crawford."
