I bought two paintings at an estate sale. For the house I want but don't have, I guess. There's something about Magic City Farm that makes me think I could just do it. Live in vintage, live with cracks. Maybe I have it all wrong in Winchester. Maybe the goal shouldn't be to fix it to modern standard, but to fix it to a vintage standard.
I love cobalt. And I love cobalt on black.
Yes! Fix it to vintage standard.

Fix?
The paintings are both very strong. And you are writing so often now, you're making my dear little head swim. I have been working on Christmas presents, as Daughter #1 is coming en famille for a quick visit, with a car - meaning, I can send gifts wrapped back with her in said car. So gotta clean (wipe away vintage mud and spider webs) and make beds and prepare food and finish my folky little presents. So if you don't hear from me till after Thursday, know that I am caught in a state of domestic bliss (read: frantic preparation) and am unable to communicate sanely.

I like these paintings too. What's the story behind the portrait?
